What a Mighty God we serve that would honor us with such Favor that we do not deserve! We are not about building a church, but about adding souls to His Kingdom. All Glory goes to God for every work He performs for us and through us.
Below is an outline of our weekly services - the where we are and the why we are. The who we are you will see when you visit our Kingdom Ministries page. God has truly honored Cornerstone Church to establish many avenues of Helps to His Children as we build up His Kingdom here on earth, and make ready for His Kingdom in Heaven - all of which is provided to you, your family and friends as a Witness to the Loving God that we cheerfully serve.
Our location: 41 N. Shortridge Rd, Indianapolis, IN (46219), just across from Gold's Gym (old Eastgate Mall). The Holy Spirit will meet you on the parking lot and usher you into His Dwelling Place and introduce you to His Love and Compassion shown through His Body established inside our doors. Our Mission: > To create an atmosphere for all people who want to experience the Presence and Power of God, through worship, praise and thanksgiving. > To show compassion for all who are wounded, or broken-hearted, and to go after the lost at any cost. > To come together with an intent and motive to worship God the way He wants to be worshiped and to please Him through our obedience. > To show God to everyone we come in contact with and invite them to experience not just “church” but God Himself. When we invite God into our midst anything can happen and anything will happen because of His Unconditional Love for us. > To tear down denominational walls and cultural prejudices as we welcome people from all nations and walks of life. > To help all who come to Cornerstone Church get a glimpse of Heaven, here on earth.
The Holy Spirit will probably meet you in the parking lot or at the front door a little before service begins at 10:30 as we quietly meet & greet and begin to settle in to calm our hearts and minds in readiness of the service to come. Please feel free to use this time for prayer & meditation as you listen to praise & worship music. We ask that everyone please be respectful of those who may be praying around you as you quietly meet & greet. As we begin service at 10:30, it's a special time to spend in God's Presence, praising Him, thanking Him, and worshiping Him for all of His Benefits and Perfections. On 1st Sunday we celebrate the Lord's Supper and fellowship in our new members. New Members class is the 3rd & 4th Sunday at 9:00 a.m. We baptize new believers upon request, anytime, any day.
Monday - The WORD 6:30 p.m. - 8:30 p.m.
We enjoy a fun and lively, total participation Bible Study as we search God's Word for the treasures and golden nuggets He has for us. And as we seek, He pours out Revelation, Understanding, Knowledge and Wisdom to quench our hunger and thirst for Him!
Tuesday - "ADDICTED TO CHRIST" 6:45 p.m. - 8:30 p.m.
A family support fellowship breaking bondages of 'afflictions' and life-threatening behaviors or life-styles which hinder us from enjoying an Abundant life and Success in Christ. In no way is it AA, CA or NA! In A.T.C. we learn who we are, why we do the things we do, and we find hope, and the answers to life's hardest trials and questions. Everyone is welcome, come as you are - ages 12 & over. We have activities for younger children if you have no sitter - so there goes that excuse! We look forward to seeing you there!
Thursday - PRAYER SERVICE 7:00 p.m. - 8:30 p.m.
This is a very special time to come together and petition God for all that He has already prepared for us - He's just waiting for us to ask! We pray for our world, our leaders, our families, His Body everywhere. We pray for those lost, sick, and deceived, asking God to place His Grace and Mercy on hearts and minds to bring all people into His Perfect Plan. We agree with His Desire, that no one be lost, but that all would come to know Him. We've experienced healings, immediate answers to prayers for jobs or promotions, family members returning home, protection from attacks, etc. Through prayer we stay always connected to our Source, our Heavenly Father!
A 'radical' time of music, fellowship and the Word for all who enjoy and wish to explore the 'radical' side of Jesus. We enjoy all kinds of music and artisitc expression, Gospel rap, poems, stories, plays, etc. All ages welcome, casual dress - please be mindful - no street attire or sagging pants. (a fall/winter ministry activitiy)
